# Vessel Registration

<details>

<summary>Additional information about this section</summary>

This section of the guidance covers how to save a vessel name into Cargoes and associated details such as IMO, flag, call sign. You only need to register a vessel once, which saves it in the Cargoes platform to be associated with subsequent visits.

Refer to section [VESSEL SEARCH](/cargoes-community/export-lite/export-lite/vessel/vessel-search.md) to check if the visit has already been registered
{% endhint %}
