Additional information about this section
This section of the guidance covers how to remove an active vessel registration from the system. The deletion of the vessel will result in the vessel records greyed out but the past associated visit information will remain for audit purposes. Please note most details associated with an IMO can be changed using Vessel Amendment.
Refer to section VESSEL SEARCH to find the vessel that you wish to delete.
Once you have found the relevant vessel in the search results click anywhere on the vessel row.

The Manage Vessel page is returned. Click on CANCEL VESSEL at the bottom right side of the page.
Click cancel vessel
A pop up will appear to confirm that you want to cancel (delete) the vessel and there is an option to add notes before you select YES to proceed.
Notification - Confirm if you want to cancel the vessel.
Once cancelled, you will see a notification at the top of the page confirming the vessel has been successfully cancelled.
Notification - Vessel cancelled sucessfully.
