Vessel Amendment

This section of the guidance covers how to amend registered vessels.

Additional information about this section

This section of the guidance covers how to update associated information to a vessel IMO once registered in Cargoes, such as Vessel Name, Flag, Call Sign and Lead Shipping Agent.

As Vessel Registration is based on the IMO, all other associated details can be updated including name, flag, call sign and lead shipping agent using the Vessel Amendment function.

Refer to section VESSEL SEARCH to find the vessel that you wish to amend.

Once you have found the relevant vessel in the search results, you can either amend the vessel directly or view the vessel details before amending.

Option 1 - To edit directly, click on the to the right of the vessel row to make changes to that specific vessel.

Option 2 - To view the vessel details before amending, click anywhere on the vessel row to open the Manage Vessel page. Once ready to edit, you can select EDIT at the bottom right side of the page.

The Manage Vessel page is returned where you can edit the following Vessel Details:

• Vessel Name

• Flag

• Call Sign

• Lead Shipping Agent

The date created and Site/Wharf cannot be amended.

The vessel status cannot be amended from this page. To update the vessel status (from registered to cancelled), please refer to section VESSEL DELETE.

Return to the Vessel Search page at any time by clicking Back to Vessel Search from the Left Hand Navigation.

A pop-up will appear to confirm that you have unsaved changes and will provide the option to leave the page and DISCARD CHANGES or STAY ON THIS PAGE.

Notification - Confirm to discard changes

Once you have completed the amendments, click SAVE at the bottom right side of the page or RESET to revert the details back to the version before editing.

Once saved, you will see a notification at the top of the page confirming the vessel has been successfully updated.
