Vessel Search

This section of the guidance covers how to search a vessel.

Additional information about this section

Use Vessel Search to check if a vessel has already been saved in Cargoes. If the vessel is not found, it will need to be registered before any visits can be linked to it.

From the Global Navigation Bar select Manage and under operations select Voyage Maintenance.

The Visit Search page is returned:

From the Left Hand navigation, select Vessel Search

The Vessel Search page is returned. To search, enter the vessel name or IMO number in the search box and click .

When you start typing in the search box, it will show a drop down list of matching results which you can select from.

The search results can be sorted by any column header, by hovering over the chosen header and clicking on which appears to the right of the column header.

To the right of the search box, you can also filter the results by Call Sign, Shipping line, Flag and Vessel Status by clicking and entering the additional search criteria in the fields that appear under the main search box.

The applied filters will show under the search box and can be removed at any time by clicking or alternatively remove all applied filters by clicking .

Once you have found the relevant vessel in the search results, you can see the vessel details by clicking anywhere on the vessel row.

Once you have made a row selection, the Manage Vessel page is returned displaying the vessel details and a full list of the active & past visits associated with this vessel.

From this page you can edit and cancel (delete) the vessel by selecting EDIT or CANCEL VESSEL at the bottom right side of the page.

Return to the vessel search page at any time by clicking Back to Vessel Search from the Left Hand Navigation.
