Cancel Visit

This section of the guidance covers how to remove an active visit registration from the system. The deletion of the vessel will result in the vessel records greyed out but the past associated visit information will remain for audit purposes.

A visit may only be cancelled(deleted) prior to departure by the shipping line or ship’s agent.

Once you have found the relevant visit in the search results, you can either cancel the visit directly or view the visit details before cancelling.

Option 1 - To edit directly, click on the right side of the visit row and select CANCEL VOYAGE from the dropdown menu.

Option 2 -To view the visit details before canceling, click anywhere on the visit row to open the Manage Visit page.

Once ready to cancel, you can select CANCEL VOYAGE at the bottom right side of the page.

With both options, a pop up will appear to confirm that you want to cancel the visit/voyage. There is an option to enter a note for internal references and then select YES to proceed or NO to discard changes.

Notification - Confirm if you want to cancel the visit.

Once cancelled, you will see a notification at the top of the page confirming the vessel has been successfully cancelled.
