Amend Visit Details

This section of the guidance covers how to amend visit details.

Additional information about this section

This section of the guidance covers how to update associated information to a specific visit, such as ETA, ETD, shipping lines and ports of destination.

Refer to section VISIT SEARCH to find the visit that you wish to amend.

Once you have found the relevant visit in the search results, you can either amend the visit directly or view the visit details before amending.

Option 1 - To edit directly, click on the to the right of the visit row to make changes to that specific visit.

Option 2 -To view the visit details before amending, click anywhere on the visit row to open the Manage Visit page. Once ready to edit, you can select EDIT at the bottom right side of the page.

Visit Search page - Click on the pencil icon or the row line to amend vessel

The Manage Visit page is returned where you can edit the following Visit Details:

  • Visit Type*

  • Vessel Type

  • Import Voyage # (only if visit type Import & Export selected)**

  • Export Voyage

  • Port of Origin

  • Estimated Time Arrival (ETA)

  • Estimated Time Departure (ETD)

*Visit type can only be changed from Export to Import & Export.

**If you selected visit type Import and Export, there will be an additional Import Voyage field* that can be amended.

Data required

Vessel Type

Select the vessel type from the down drop menu

Export Voyage*

Enter any internal references (no more than 10 characters)

Port of Origin*

Enter the port name or the 5-character port code for the last port of call and select from the drop down menu

ETA*

Click on the calendar iconthen select the date and approximate time of arrival and select to validate.

ETD*

Click on the calendar iconthen select the date and approximate time of departure and select to validate.

*Import Voyage Number*

Enter any internal references (no more than 10 characters)

Manage Visit page - Amend details

Please note you cannot amend the visit reference #, the import UVI and export UVI, which are generated by Cargoes when a visit is registered.

If you click on the UVI number hyperlink, it will open a new tab and return the Manage Visit page for that visit.

The at the top of the page may be required later when registering multiple UCRs, swapping UCRs or when uploading a file. See section REGISTER MULTIPLE UCRS, UCR SWAP or FILE UPLOAD for more instructions.

Return to the visit search page at any time by clicking Back to Visit Search from the Left Hand Navigation.

A pop-up will appear to confirm that you have unsaved changes and will provide the option to leave the page and DISCARD CHANGES or STAY ON THIS PAGE.

Notification - Confirm to discard changes

Once the amendments are completed, click SAVE at the bottom right side of the page or RESET to revert the details back to the version before editing.

Once saved, you will see a notification at the top of the page confirming the visit has been successfully updated.

From this page you can also:

  • Return to Visit Search

  • Amend Associated Vessel

  • Update visit status i.e, depart vessel

  • Cancel the visit/voyage

  • View visit audit
